KOTHE House is a refined exploration of privacy, rhythm, and materiality, expressed through a clean and controlled architectural language. The street façade is defined by a composition of horizontal planes and vertical timber screens, creating a layered boundary that balances openness with seclusion. The design presents a calm and understated presence, allowing textures and proportions to take center stage.
The entrance sequence is carefully orchestrated, guiding visitors through a filtered threshold where light and shadow interact across natural materials. Timber slats and soft-toned stone elements create a warm, tactile experience, while subtle openings offer glimpses into the life within. This transition from public to private is central to the architectural concept.

Behind the façade, the house unfolds into a more open and fluid spatial arrangement, where interior spaces are closely connected to the landscape. The architecture prioritizes comfort and continuity, with controlled views and natural light shaping the daily living experience. The contrast between the enclosed exterior and the open interior enhances the sense of retreat.
KOTHE House achieves a quiet elegance through restraint and precision. The combination of natural materials, clean geometry, and thoughtful spatial sequencing results in a residence that feels both contemporary and timeless—an environment designed for calm, privacy, and refined living.
