In a world that accelerates — where cities grow denser and streets multiply — humans instinctively turn inward. They seek refuge. A space that is not merely a dwelling, but an extension of the self — a place of calm, connection, and silence.

“Ratio” is born from this very need. Designed as a living organism, the building explores the delicate balance between nature and architecture, between the senses and materiality. It is an architectural landscape not simply inhabited — but experienced.

The gaze finds serenity. Gentle geometries, carefully framed light, and green “bursts” compose a landscape of quiet observation. The sense of smell awakens. Aromatic plants subtly diffuse the memory of nature
within the city. The sense of touch invites. Tree bark, textured surfaces, shadows, and light — all coexist, all have substance. The sound becomes pause. Birdsongs, the soft rustle of leaves — fragments of naturalness woven into the urban fabric. The “secret gardens” are not ornamental. They are transitional realms — inner landscapes that transform the routine of living into a ritual. In the living room, the bedroom, in every corner, moments of solitude and fulfillment emerge.

The building integrates harmoniously into its surroundings through its green façade and planted open spaces, improving the microclimate and enhancing the residents’ quality of life. Its social dimension is expressed through spaces of calm and shared use, strengthening the connection between humans, themselves, and their environment.

The green façade is not a boundary but a membrane. It embraces the balconies like a filter between public and private life, creating an intermediate space — an architectural breath.

The aluminum skin of the building is composed of 1,500 rectangular elements. The openings are carefully designed — squares that complement one another like rhythm and pause. The façade becomes a protective mesh: a sanctuary of light and shadow, allowing the resident to see without being exposed, to breathe without isolation.
